This cocktail is all about smooth honey-chamomile syrup meeting bubbly prosecco and a kick from amaro or apple brandy. Throw in some fresh apples for a crisp finish, and you’ve got yourself a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
-
-
-
2 chamomile tea bags
-
1/3 cup boiling water
-
2 tablespoons honey
-
3/4 cup Amaro Nonino (or apple brandy if you’re feeling fruity)
-
1 red apple, finely chopped
-
1 (750-ml) bottle of prosecco, chilled
-
3/4 cup sparkling water, chilled
-
-
Directions
-
Make the Syrup : Steep the chamomile tea bags in 1/3 cup boiling water for about 5 minutes. Ditch the tea bags. Stir in honey until it dissolves. Cover it up and chill that honey-chamomile syrup until it’s ready for action.
-
Mix the Base : In a pitcher, combine 3/4 cup of Amaro Nonino (or apple brandy) and your chilled honey-chamomile syrup. Let it chill for an hour, so the flavors can meld together like old friends.
-
Finish It Off : Right before serving, toss in the chopped apple, prosecco, and sparkling water. Give it a light stir, but don’t go crazy—you want to keep those bubbles intact.
